Surya Semesta sell land bank US$53 million

PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk, the property company, has secured purchase commitment of 145 hectares industrial land bank worth US$53 million in the first quarter of this year.
Surya Semesta, throughout subsidiary PT Suryacipta Swadaya (SCS), developer and management of industrial area, has set a target to sell 170 hectares of industrial land bank in 2011.
However, Suryacipta Swadaya has reached 85% of the target in the first quarter of this year. The company just sold industrial land bank to Astra International Group. Following the purchase, the company reports another purchase commitment of 28 hectares of land bank from PT Nestle Indonesia.
By securing the land bank purchases, it will steeply underpin performance of its parent, Surya Semesta, in 2011. Surya Semesta was estimated to post beyond IDR2 trillion of consolidated revenue this year, in which 25% of it will be contributed by Suryacipta.
The company currently manages license of 1,400 hectares land bank usage at Suryacipta City of Industry, including 45 hectares of commercial area.Net saleable area for industrial land bank is approximately of 950 hectares.
