PT Adaro Energy Tbk wholly-owned unit, PT Saptaindra Sejati, signed a $400 million facility agreement with a group of banks, including PT Bank Mandiri Singapore branch, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. Ltd., Standard Chartered Plc., The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd, Jakarta branch, Sumitomo Mitsui banking Corporation, PT ANZ Panin Bank, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, and DBS Bank Ltd.
Saptaindra, the coal mining contractor plans will use the seven-year loan to repay debt and to fund capital expenditure.
Lead arrangers for the loan are Chinatrust Commercoal Bank Co Ltd, Singapore branch, Societe Generale, Singapore branch.Facility and security agents for the loan are HSBC and Bank DBS Indonesia. The crediturs charge loan at Libor+applicable margin, is guaranteed by Adaro Energy.
