Malaysia’s AirAsia, the leading low-cost airline in Southeast Asia,
announced it is acquire mid-service airline Batavia Air. The deal at pirce US$80 million for 49% share Batavia Air.
The goal of the purchase is to expand into Southeast Asia’s largest econom. AirAsia take over 49% share Batavia Air own by Yudiawan Tansari.
After acquisition, AirAsia Berhard Malaysia own 49% share and Fersindo
Nusaperkasa own 51% share of Batavia Air.
