Ertiga will compete with Avanza and Xenia

The low-end multi purpose vehicle (MPV) segment is heating up this year as PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales, a PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk, launched Suzuki Ertiga.
The Ertiga which completely knocked down (CKD) in Suzuki manufacture in Tambun, Bekasi, have the specification of 1,373 cc engine with four cylinder, 16 valves and the maximum power of 95 PS per 6,000 rpm.
This car is also supported by the multipoint injection fuel supply, the fuel is supplied electronically to engine combustion chamber, with five manual transmissions for all models. Ertiga is the first long-bonnet low-end MPV ever produced in India and marketed in Indonesia.
Ertiga comes in three types, namely GA, GL, and GX. The on the road price per unit in Jakarta are IDR143 million for GA, IDR153 million for GL, and IDR165 million for GX type.
With Ertiga marketing,Suzuki targeting total sales by the end of the year could reach 145,000 units, surged 53% compared with last year's realization at 94,569 units. Ertiga will directly compete with competitors in the same segment, such as the Toyota Avanza, Daihatsu Xenia, and Nissan Grand Livina.
