Chandra Asri raised US$465 million loan

PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk raised US$465 million loan facility from seven banks for working capital, to support its operational and platform to expand.
The banks are DBS Bank as collateral agent, Standard Chartered Bank, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, HSBC, PT Bank Danamon Tbk, ANZ, and PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk.

The facility is including revolving credit worth US$25 million. The agreement was sealed on September 28.
With such support, the TPIA-coded share is optimistic to significantly grow despite the unstable global economic condition.
Its production capacity reached 600,000 ton per year of ethylene, 320,000 per year of propylene, 320,000 ton per year of polyethylene, 480,000 ton per year of polypropylene, 220,000 ton per year of crude C4, and 340,000 ton per year of styrene monomer.

The listed-company created through vertical merger between two affiliated petrochemical companies namely PT Chandra Asri and PT Tri Polyta Indonesia Tbk. Both are units of PT Barito Pacific Tbk owned by Prajogo Pangestu.
