Trakindo take over 3 hectare land in Rasuna Epicentrum

Heavy equipment provider Trakindo Group had acquired 3 hectare land in Rasuna Epicentrum area for IDR525 billion, where it will build office complex.

CEO Bakrie Swasakti Utama Sri Hascaryo revealed that the acquisition had been completed in the end of July.

Bakrie Swasakti is a subsidiary of PT Bakrieland Development Tbk that constructs a superblock project of Rasuna Epicentrum on 53.5 hectare land in Kuningan, Jakarta.

“Trakindo is designing the construction of 40-floor office building,” he told me last night.

He said the transaction was profitable because there is an acceleration of land capacity utilization in Rasuna Epicentrum area. Now, Bakrie Swasakti provides opportunities to form cooperation with strategic partners in Rasuna Epicentrum after its main partner, subsidiary of Dubai World Limitless Holding LLC, still gets stuck on financial restructuring as an impact of 2008 monetary crisis.

Previously, Limitless had agreed to acquire 30% shares of the Bakrieland’s subsidiary for US$110 million.
