Ridha resign from BII

CEO PT Bank Internasional Indonesia Tbk Ridha Wirakusumah was tendered the resignation letter. Raharja Alimhamzah, Director for corporate banking BII will act as a CEO until annual general meeting shareholder. Ridha was served as CEO BII since March 2009 replaced Henry Ho Hon Cheong.

Ridha formerly served as Head of Asia Pacific Consumer Finance at AIG and Head of South East Asia focusing on the business of consumer finance at GE Capital. He worked with Bankers Trust and Citibank in the treasury and corporate banking functions. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Regional Business Head Asia Pacific AIG Consumer Finance, Hong Kong. He also served as Chairman of Board of Commissioners of AIG Retail Bank, Hong Kong, AIG Philam Savings Bank, the Philippines, GE Money Retail Bank, Thailand and Keppel Bank/GE Money Bank, Philippines.

He was served as President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Consumer Finance Asia, Bangkok. His early career was with Bankers Trust and Citibank in the treasury and corporate banking functions.

Ridha received his MBA degree at Ohio University, United States of America and is a candidate for PhD in Business Administrations at City University of Hong Kong-University of California, Berkeley/Haas School of Business.

Previously, Ridha one of the five names prepared to replace President Director of the Asset Management Company (PPA) Mohammad Syahrial, who had resigned at the end of October 2008.
