BNI raise net profit IDR4.2 trilion

PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk, second largest bank by asset in Indonesia, raise net profit IDR4.2 trilion compare with 2009, when BNI reported a net profit of IDR 2.486 trillion. In July 2010, the bank reported first-half net profit rose 61% to IDR1.94 trillion, as fee income climbed. BNI also sees loan growth of 15% to 20% in 2011.
State banks (BNI, Bank Mandiri, Bank Tabungan Negara, and Bank Rakyat Indonesia) reported a 19.7% profit growth in 2010 to Rp22.84 trillion, led by BNI with 69.35% growth.
In terms of nominal value, BRI reported net profit of IDR9.03 trillion in 2010, the biggest profit among the state banks. BRI's profit grew by 23.52% compared to IDR7.31 trillion in 2009.
Bank Mandiri is the second biggest with profit of IDR8.8 trillion, grew by 22.9% from IDR7.16 trillion a previous year. Bank Tabungan Negara reported net profit of IDR805.05 billion in 2010, a 63.8% increase compared to IDR490 billion in 2009.
