PLN raise US$116 million loan

PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara, borrowed US$116 million from four domestic banks to finance the construction of transmission lines on Java island.
PLN received the loans from PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk.
PLN is an Indonesian state-owned vertically integrated electricity utility with a generation capacity of over 22,000MW. It is a monopoly operator of transmission and distribution networks and is the country's largest electricity producer.
The government, represented by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (MSOE), has complete ownership.
