Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholder PT Bank Mandiri Tbk today plans to approve Zulkifli Zaini as a new CEO replacing Agus Dermawan Wintarto Martowardojo, Krisna Wijaya as independent comissioner, and Kresno Sediarsi as a new director.
Zulkifli was born in 1956. Graduated with a BSc from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1980 and an MBA in Finance from Washington University in 1994. He began working as a Civil and Structural Engineer at Wiratman and Associates in 1980.
He embarked upon a banking career as an Account Officer at Bank Pembangunan Indonesia (Bapindo) in 1988. Upon receiving his Masters degree, he was appointed Staff of Banking and Finance Services at Bapindo, Jakarta in 1994.

Kresno formerly is a vice president human resources Bank Mandiri. Krisna Wijaya was born in Jakarta on 22nd July 1955, and joined Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) in 1980.
He held a number of different positions during his career at BRI including leasing, commercial business and branch leader. In July 2000 he was appointed Operational Director of BRI for human resources, operational, IT, logistics and pension funds. In April 2003 he served as director of Micro Business & Retail at BRI for a number of divisions including micro, retail, consumer banking, sharia units, international visitor program and business planning.
From May to September 2005 he was entrusted as the Commissioner of BRI. Subsequently, from September 2005 until April 2006 he was appointed Director of the Indonesian Banking Development Institute. Additionally, in September 2005 he was also a member of the Board of Commissioners and CEO of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (DIC) until his resignation on 31st December 2007. Since 2008, Krisna Wijaya has remained as Commissioner of PT. Bank Danamon (Tbk).
