Shinhan plans to buy Bank Antardaerah

Two foreign investors and one local investors compete to acquire majority stake in PT Bank Antardaerah.
Two foreign investors came from South Korea, the Shinhan Financial Group, and one more investors from China. The two foreign investors has held meetings with shareholder Bank Antardaerah.
Bank Antardaerah have assets in a small scale. Until March 2010, the bank posted total assets IDR1.3 trillion, higher when compared with the same period in the previous year IDR1.11 trillion.
The increase in assets was supported by the third party funding (DPK) for IDR839. 58 billion, compared with the same period in the previous year at level IDR687. 45 billion. The bank in the first three months of this year was recorded profit IDR1. 92 billion, compare from the previous period IDR1.39 billion.
