Glenn Mohamad Surya Yusuf, the former chief of the Indonesian Banking Restructuring Agency (IBRA), is one of the top management of paper producer, PT Kertas Basuki Rachmat Indonesia Tbk.
The appointment of Glen as the president director of Kertas Basuki happened on the general meeting of shareholders of the paper producer and distributor here last Friday.
The meeting also appointed Antonius Budi Setiawan Hudiana as the new chief commissioner. Glenn is the non executive director of CIMB Group since 25 January 2010. Meanwhile, Antonius is the former President Director of PT Barito Pacific Tbk owned by tycoon Prajogo Pangestu.
Glenn involvement is said to have linked with the plan of incoming strategic investor such as Salim Group through wealth management company based in Singapore.
As per April 30, Kertas Basuki shareholders consist of Adam Ariaji with 28.13 percent ownership, PT Malindo Nusantara Cemerlang (24.87 percent), ex owner of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk Rennier A.R. Latief (13.97 percent), and public 33.03 percent
