Erry & Torang, strong candidate for Pefindo comissioner

Former IDX president director Erry Firmansyah and CEO Pertamina Pension Fund Torang Napitupulu become a trong candidate for comissioner PT Pefindo. They will replace Dudung Syarifuddin and Eva Nilayanti Muis.
Pefindo was established in Jakarta on December 21, 1993, through the initiative of BAPEPAM (the Capital Market's Supervisory Board), and Bank Indonesia (The Central Bank). On August 13, 1994, PEFINDO obtained its operating license (No. 39/PM-PI/1994) from BAPEPAM and remains one of the supporting institutions of the Indonesian Capital Market.
Pefindo's main function is to provide objective, independent and credible ratings on the credit risk of publicly issued debt securities through rating activities.
Erry also plans to fill the position of commissioner of PT Astra International Tbk in August while leaving his post as commissioner with PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk. Erry will become Astra commissioner with Jonathan Chang. Jonathan is the representative of Jardin Cycle & Carriage Ltd, the major shareholder of Astra.
Erry also becomes an independent commissioner for three company, PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk, PT Benakat Petroleum Energy Tbk, and PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk.
