There are 10 securities company compete to handle PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) bonds. PT Mandiri Sekuritas, PT BNI Securities, PT Bahana Securities, PT Danareksa Sekuritas. PT Trimegah Securities Tbk, PT Kresna Graha Sekurindo Tbk, PT Indo Premier Securities, PT Standard Chartered Securities, and PT CIMB Securities Indonesia.
BTN will picks 3 underwriters to help the company sel IDR1.5 trillion bonds. BTN also prepares some instruments to lure funding this year worth IDR4 trillion through bonds issuance, asset securitization of III phase (KIK EBA), and medium term note (MTN).
BTN targets profit growth this year at 10% by bolstering business expansion in the housing loan and small and medium enterprise (SME) markets, which will grow by 22%-27%.
Data by the central bank (BI) showed BTN recorded IDR400.45 billion in profit as of October 2009, down from IDR430 billion in 2008.
BTN lending performance per November 2009 surged 22.8% to IDR39.34 trillion from IDR32.02 trillion per December 2009. Previously, the company targeted lending for 2009 at IDR42 trillion.
