PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, Indonesia biggest telephone provider, has allocated IDR1 trillion to fund acquisitions of as many as three companies this year.
Telkom has also plans to sell IDR2 trillion in bonds in the second quarter of this year to fund capital expenditure.
Telkom has plans to divest PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (Mitratel) stocks to public in a bid to balance the portfolio and optimize the corporate value.
Mitratel will buy 29,781 telecommunication towers owned by PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel). Now, Singapore Telecom Mobile Pte Ltd (Singtel) possess 35 percent of Telkomsel shares and the remaining owned by Telkom.
