Adaro, strong candidate to acquire BHP asset

After PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) failing to get mining site of BHP Billiton, PT Adaro Energy Tbk has a big change to acquire that assets.
In the divestment of 25 percent of mining sites owned by BHP Billiton in Maruwai, Central Kalimantan, PT Adaro Energy is said to become the preferred bidder for the coal mining site here.
In Indonesia, BHP Billiton has seven big mining companies, five of which are in Central Kalimantan (PT Lahai Coal, PT Maruwei Coal, PT Julai Coal, PT Kalteng Coal, and PT Sumber Barito Coal) and two in East Kalimantan (PT Pariho and PT Ratan Coal). The seven companies have coal mining business working agreement permits (PKP2B).
