PGN has pay unpaid fees US$17.3 million

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk, Indonesia's biggest distributor of the fuel, was ordered by an international court to pay $17.3 million in unpaid fees to a group of contractors in a pipeline project.
The International Court of Arbitration ruled in favor of the group comprising PT Citra Panji Manunggal, PT Remaja Bangun Kencana Kontraktor and PT Winatek Widita working on the Grissik- Pagardewa gas pipeline in South Sumatra.
The Grissik-Pagardewa link, currently in operation, is part of a PGN pipeline connecting fields in Sumatra to consumers on the populous island of Java. A company filing to the Indonesia Stock Exchange showed that the arbitration court ruling on Nov. 24 also required PGN to pay separately $643,000 in court-related fees.
